Matt began working in the construction field in Houston, Texas at a young age, all the way through college. In 1998, Matt completed his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M in Information and Operations Management, moving to Dallas following graduation, and eventually to Oklahoma to work for Devon Energy. After 15 years in software management, he returned to his roots of commercial and residential construction in 2014, establishing ScissorTail Roofing & Construction. Matt carries his commercial endorsement for ScissorTail as well as being Fortified Certified. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma and is now serving as Board President for the Oklahoma Roofing Contractors Association.

Matt and his wife Kristi have been married since 2010 and have two sons, Mason and Brady. The family attends Alameda Church of Christ and spends their free time cheering their boys on in baseball and soccer games.

Kristi is a Norman native who has more than 20 years of experience in community development, bookkeeping, event planning, marketing, and university alumni relations. She has worked previously for the University of Oklahoma College of Arts and Sciences, the Norman Chamber of Commerce, and Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity. Kristi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma.

Kristi enjoys supporting the needs of the Central Oklahoma community. She is a current member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Norman and an active member of the PTA at her children's school. She has served on the Board of Directors and as a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels of Norman, and as an Ambassador with the Norman Chamber of Commerce. Kristi has also served on the Board of Directors for the Women's Resource Center and was in the Leadership Norman Class of 2011.

Joey M. Wishnuck, M.B.A., J.D. is an experienced real estate developer, investor and builder. Joey holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, an M.B.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a J.D. from the Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Joey has three children: the two oldest, both beautiful girls, Madi and Dallis, and a bright-eyed son, J. Ford. Joey is also very active in the Community, graduating from Leadership Norman, has been the recipient of both the Journal Record's Achievers under 40 and Norman Chamber of Commerce's NormanNEXT under 40, serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Norman, Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma (BASCO) and on the Board of Advisors for the Greater Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce.

Matt Seaton joined ScissorTail as our Director of Operations. Matt leads our operation and efficiency programs, ensuring we deliver timely results to our customers, contractors and suppliers. Matt has a diverse background in supply chain logistics, finance, technology and Human Resources. Born and raised in the Oklahoma City metro area, Matt graduated from Mid-America Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He knows this community well, and when he's not working on improving our back office processes, you can regularly find him in the field talking with our customers and assisting our team members. Matt and his wife, Amber, live in Oklahoma City. They have two sons that attend the University of Oklahoma, and one daughter in high school. In his free time, Matt and Amber enjoy spending time with family and watching their daughter play softball.

Lance Uhles joined ScissorTail in early 2020 as an Account Manager. He was promoted to Director in September of 2022. Lance leads the Account Management team to assist clients with any construction need, including storm restoration in Norman. He has worked in roofing sales, general construction, and fire and water restoration for many years and has experience guiding clients through the insurance claim process. Lance played collegiate football and graduated with a degree from the school of business at Emporia State University. Lance and his wife, Suzy, live in Norman with their three sons and one daughter. When he is not on your roof or working on a remodel, he is playing with his children or taking them to football games.

Raymon joined ScissorTail in March 2022 as a Superintendent in the Production Department and was promoted to Production Manager a year later. Prior to joining ScissorTail, he worked in residential and commercial framing. He enjoys working with contractors to maximize a client's satisfaction. Raymon studied at the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife Lindsey live in Norman and have two daughters, Camille and Zara. When not at a job site, he is probably remodeling his own home, or with playing with his girls. In his spare time, he likes to garden, hike and fish.

Nich Lanier joined ScissorTail in March 2024 as an Account Manager, with nearly two years of experience in the roofing industry. He has previous experience in the HVAC industry before moving to Oklahoma from Georgia. Outside of work, Nich enjoys fishing and spending time at the lake, and watching football.

Mitchell Smith joined ScissorTail in April 2025 as an Account Manager. Mitchell brings with him several years of previous construction and roofing experience.

Geronimo joined ScissorTail in August 2025. Geronimo has a background in construction and framing.

Cale joined ScissorTail in early 2024. He brings a variety of skills to the team as he has worked previously as landscaper, heavy equipment operator, and in environmental cleanup. He also has previous experience as a plumber. Cale and his daughter live on a large acreage, and he enjoys spending his time hunting and fishing. He also enjoys racing cars.

Ryan joined ScissorTail in 2025 as a Production Intern. Ryan is currently attending the University of Oklahoma majoring in economics. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys lifting weights, fishing and volunteering with youth at his church.
